Spring, Walking, and Teeth

Posted by & filed under Family.

Sometime last week, with both Easter and General Conference having come and gone, I was starting to worry that maybe the warmer weather would never come. But happily it did, and I can now ride my bike to school without 3 coats on. I was amazed that in a matter of just a couple of days, all the grass turned green, and the trees began sprouting leaves. I can’t remember ever seeing a season change like that. Now we can take walks in the park, have picnics, and swing on swings.

Andrew is quickly becoming a walking and climbing baby. He now prefers walking from place to place around the apartment, instead of crawling (although anytime he sees something interesting on the floor has has to go down and get it). He also likes to take advantage of whatever there is around to try and climb on and get up higher than he can reach on his own. We were able to capture some of his recent walking on video. In re-watching that video I am amazed at how much better he has gotten since then. He is a manic.

We were also able to capture his two front teeth in the photographs below. His smile kind of reminds me of the Disney character Goofy.

Yea for baby updates! I like that kid. I can’t wait until my babies can walk and we can put them facing each other and see what happens if they walk into each other.

I like the pictures of his teeth, too. He looks like a goon.

I love how the Spring trees are like green and pink fireworks all over town. It’s getting uber warm here.
