The Great Cromar Blog Catch-Up: Post 12 of 16
After Christmas we had some time to play with Sara’s family still and my dad came to visit. We repeated our tradition that we started last year of making Christmas trees out of ice cream cones and green frosting. The kids had been asking to do it again all year, so we had to. All the trees turned out beautifully, but I think having mini M&Ms last year was funner. They just look so cute. We tried to get my dad to join in making them, but he just said, “I don’t think so.”
After our photo shoot at the Newport Beach temple that I wrote about a couple of posts ago, we all headed to a mini golf course. Sara and I batted in the batting cages, and then we all played mini golf. The kids can actually putt some now, so there was less frustration and crying. Progress.
You can see even more of our fun Christmas adventures with family here. I was just looking back on some old photos, and just to compare a California Christmas to an Illinois one, you can click here to see last year’s Christmas adventures with Sara and Jonathan.
